TV Room Converted to Library

We took on the delightful task of converting a typical TV room into a beautiful and functional home library. This project focused on replacing the old wooden floors, designing custom shelving, and remodeling the room to establish a peaceful reading environment. It wasn't just about construction but creating a space that naturally invites someone to sit down with a good book.

Our main feature for this project is the stunning custom shelving that lines the walls. The shelves are perfectly tailored to accommodate a wide array of books, offering ample storage but also adding character and charm to the room. Installing these shelves required precise measurements and careful installation to ensure they fit seamlessly.

Another unique aspect of this project was dealing with the natural light. The large windows needed treatment so they wouldn’t overpower the environment but rather enhance it. Our efforts went into maintaining the balance between the interior lighting and the incoming natural light, producing a dynamic, yet cozy, reading area.

Transforming the hardwood floors was central to creating the library's warm atmosphere. We revitalized them to add a fresh and inviting appeal to the room. These floors now perfectly complement the deep wood tones of the custom shelves, creating a cohesive look and feel.
